Why it was founded
Built from a
clear need.
Women of the ASX was founded by Renee Kaczmarczyk, entrepreneur and former corporate and commercial lawyer.
After returning to the listed-company environment, Renee saw a clear gap: senior women often worked across the same market, yet had few opportunities to meet and build meaningful relationships as peers.
WoASX was founded in response to a simple but confronting reality: in a sector where hundreds of executive conversations occur each week, female leadership remains the exception rather than the norm. Proximity drives opportunity, and too often, women are not in the rooms where influence compounds.
Women of the ASX was created to provide that exact space. A trusted, carefully curated network where experienced women can exchange perspectives, form meaningful relationships and create greater visibility, access and opportunity across the sector.
The events are unlike any other networking event in this space. They are curated to create an environment that is supportive and fosters genuine, lasting and meaningful business relationships.
